Embark on a breathtaking 4-day safari through some of Tanzania's most iconic national parks
Embark on a breathtaking 4-day safari through some of Tanzania’s most iconic national parks. Experience stunning landscapes, incredible wildlife, and comfortable accommodations while exploring Lake Manyara National Park, the Ndutu Region, and the renowned Ngorongoro Crater
At 8:30 AM, you will be greeted by your guide at your hotel in Arusha. After an approximately 2-hour drive, you will arrive at Lake Manyara National Park, often referred to as the “loveliest lake in Africa.” Covering 127 square miles (329 km²), the park's alkaline waters span approximately 89 square miles (231 km²). Famous for its large population of baboons and diverse birdlife, the park is also home to hippos, impalas, elephants, wildebeests, buffalo, warthogs, and giraffes. After exploring, proceed to Marera Valley Lodge to enjoy a lovely swimming pool and overnight accommodations on a Full Board basis.
After breakfast, you will drive to the Ndutu Region. In January and February, large herds of wildebeests migrate to the Lake Ndutu area, where the rains have made the landscape beautifully green. This is an excellent time for wildlife viewing, as newborn wildebeest calves and zebra foals are abundant. Witness the incredible circle of life as you see both newborns and predators in action. Stay overnight at Ndutu Kati Kati Tented Camp on a Full Board basis
After breakfast, start your day with early morning game drives in the Lake Ndutu area, continuing to explore the Great Wildebeest Migration. In the afternoon, enjoy game drives en route to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Stay overnight at Rhino Lodge Ngorongoro on a Full Board bas
After breakfast, leave the lodge at 07:00 AM for a memorable half-day tour of the Ngorongoro Crater. Complete registration formalities at Loduare National Park Gate before descending into this 100-square-mile natural amphitheater, which hosts an astonishing array of wildlife, including rhinos, elephants, and lions, along with large herds of zebras and wildebeests. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed on the crater floor. After your visit, exit the crater and return to Arusha. You will be dropped off at your hotel, or feel free to request assistance with reservations.
